| Activity and special days are held annually to enhance the curriculum. • Science day - a multiplicity of experiments and activities • French day - including a French breakfast, costume, dress, dancing, cooking etc. • Armistice day - a service is held at school each year in commemoration. A small group of students also attends the wreath laying ceremony which takes place at 11.00am at the cenotaph in Beecroft • Book Week - the school celebrates Book Week by looking at good literature and books short listed for the Childrens Book Council of Australia Award. Regularly, we have authors and illustrators come to share their work with the students • Bus Week - bus safety issues • Music Days - Musica Viva workshops are held for all students (Kindergarten to Year 6) • Maths Week - Maths made fun through a variety of activities • Parenting Workshops - these are held regularly to assist with parenting in the home |
