Day 13:

Day 13 saw a busy day again with lots of walking and some very packed tube rides! After a visit to see the Crown Jewels and lots of other interesting history and teaching strategies (ie the torture dungeon!), we walk the 4 kms down the road, across the Milennium Bridge, through South Bank and onto the London Eye.

Our flight went very smoothly, with no mishaps and witnessed a fantastic (but foggy) view of London - it is undertsnadable as to why they call it the eye! You can see everything! Great to see it from above as we had visited most of it during our bus trip the day before.

Walking over the Westminster Bridge past Big Ben (see the photo of Big Ben and Little Ben in one shot!), the Westminster Abbey and then onto visit the Queen. Unfortunately, she was having afternoon tea with Rolf Harris, and we were not able to have our appointment...we then had a very interesting, very squishy ride back on the tube to the Hostel....

Tomorrow, the rest of London!
