BA (Sydney), DipEd (SCAE), MA (Sydney), MEd (Macquarie), MACE, MACEL
Mr Graham Anderson commenced his role as the 13th Principal of Arden Anglican School in March, 2010. With a clear vision for Arden, Mr Anderson commented: “I strongly believe in a climate of high expectations where students are challenged to achieve their absolute best academically, where staff are personally and professionally encouraged and work alongside supportive parents. A student-centred school is one where each individual is regarded as unique, made in God’s image and therefore is of special significance.”
A graduate of Sydney Technical High School and the University of Sydney, Mr Anderson completed his Bachelor of Arts in 1981. Since then he has completed a Graduate Diploma of Secondary Education, Master of Arts at Sydney University and Master of Education at Macquarie University.
Mr Anderson started his teaching career at Trinity Grammar School where he taught English, History and Christian Studies and coached cricket and rugby from 1982 – 1995. During this time he spent a year on exchange at Loughborough Grammar School in England. In 1995 he was appointed Deputy Principal at William Clarke College, Kellyville.
Prior to commencing at Arden, Mr Anderson was the Assistant Principal (Head of Secondary) and then Acting Principal of Bishop Druitt College in Coffs Harbour, an independent co-educational Kindergarten – Year 12 Anglican school in the Diocese of Grafton.
