The Arden Parents & Friends Association is an enthusiastic and dedicated group of volunteer parents whose objective is to enhance the spirit of the ‘school family’ and to partner with the School to strengthen the enduring sense of community enjoyed by all families at Arden.
Since our beginnings parental involvement has always been a feature of Arden. We know that student learning is enhanced when parents and School work together and so the P&F supports and promotes the interests of the School by bringing parents, students and staff into close cooperation.
All current parents and guardians are members of the P&F and membership is also open to anyone interested in the School. The P&F provides all parents with the opportunity to develop friendships within the School community and to contribute to the life of the School.
Lead by an Executive of parents, the P&F coordinates a range of events to bring the School community together including new parent evenings, a mother’s day stall, trivia nights, a father’s day breakfast and the biannual Spring Fair, held in August.
In the Primary School the P&F Executive is supported by a network of class parents. Class parents organise social activities for their child’s class, support Arden’s communication with parents, assist families who may be experiencing distress and help ensure that new parents feel welcome at Arden.
All families are warmly encouraged to join the Executive and/or to become a volunteer at the School.
P&F meeting dates are published in the school calendar.
