Arden understands that choosing the right school for your child is a very important decision in the life of your family. There are many things to consider – your child’s individual needs, the role of parents in the life of the school, the school’s learning culture, beliefs, social ethos and expectations of the children.
Arden believes that clear communication between parents, staff and students is an essential ingredient to building a strong partnership between home and school and this communication begins at the enrolment stage. We ask that you read and understand the enrolment process and visit us for an Open Day or Monthly Tour prior to submitting an Enrolment Application.
Initial enquiries should be directed to the Registrar for an information pack or to sign up to attend a Monthly Tour.
2. OPEN DAY/MONTHLY TOURS
All prospective families are encouraged to visit the Junior and Secondary School on our Open Day on 13 March 2020 or a Monthly Tour later in the year. Bookings are essential.
An Enrolment Application should be submitted to the Registrar, to secure a position on the School’s waiting list. The form must be accompanied by all relevant documentation and the Enrolment Application Fee. PLEASE NOTE: Arden does not accept applications from international students or students with a temporary residency visa. Only Australian citizens or students holding a permanent residency visa may apply.
4. WAITING LIST
Once this information is received and processed, the child is placed on the waiting list.
Prospective families and students will be invited to attend an interview with the appropriate Head of School and undertake any appropriate standardised testing.
6. OFFER OF A PLACE
Once it has been determined that a place exists in a year group and any relevant support or enrichment programs, prospective students are formally offered a place. Parents are asked to confirm acceptance of that place by paying the non–refundable Confirmation Fee and signing the Conditions of Enrolment.
Orientation events are held regularly towards the end of each year prior to entry, or when required for any mid–year intakes.
